New Foundation Grant Program for Undergraduate Research – September 1 deadline
The International Plant Propagators’ Society-Eastern Region Foundation (IPPS-ERF) is proud to introduce a new research grant program to support undergraduate research in the areas of nursery production and/or plant propagation. Grants are for $2,000 to support research and student wages and the Foundation does not provide funds for overhead. In addition, there is an expectation that students will present their research at an annual IPPS-Eastern Region Conference in the form of a poster and provide a one-page manuscript for the IPPS-ER Proceedings. Additional travel grants and reduced Conference fees will be available to help support the presenting student. The deadline for submitting the proposal is September 1, 2019.

Proposals should be brief, but succinct and follow a typical proposal format that includes an introduction with research objectives, methods, and expected outcomes. Successful applicants will be notified by October 1.  Proposal submissions or questions regarding research grants should be directed to the Foundation Research Committee Chair, Bob Geneve at .
