IPPS-ER Exchange Program
Are you an early-career horticulture professional looking for an incredible international opportunity? The IPPS Eastern Region Foundation is proud to announce its support of the Early Career Exchange Program, in collaboration with the IPPS Southern and Western North American Regions.
IPPS regions have always welcomed members of other IPPS regions to their annual meetings. As of 2025 the Southern and Eastern Regions are collaborating on supporting the exchange of young members between the Eastern, Southern and European regions. Every other year (starting in 2025) the IPPS Eastern Region (IPPS-ER) Foundation will offer a $2,000 stipend to one selected member who is 35 years or younger to attend that year’s European IPPS Region Annual Meeting – that meeting will take place in Peterborough, England from October 8-10, 2025. In alternating years the Southern region will send one of their young members to Europe. When not supporting the European exchange each region will host a European member and the Foundation will support an Eastern region member attending the Southern region.
This exchange offers a unique opportunity for the selected participant to connect with industry professionals, experience international horticultural practices, and tour renowned nurseries and gardens in England. The chosen representative will coordinate additional travel details with the IPPS European Region Secretary and their designated Host.
