Exchange Program

Are you an early-career horticulture professional looking for an incredible interregional opportunity? The IPPS Eastern Region Foundation is proud to announce its support of the Early Career Exchange Program, in collaboration with the IPPS Southern and Western North American Regions.

The IPPS Eastern Region Foundation announces that applications are now being accepted for the Early Career North American Exchange Program.

Who is eligible: The Exchange is open to IPPS Eastern Region Members up to 35 years old or new to the industry.

Stipend: This year a single Exchange Delegate will receive up to $2,000 toward travel and hotel expenses to attend the 2026 Annual Meeting of either the Southern or Western Region.

IPPS Western Region Conference

  • Sept 1-4, 2026
  • Salt Lake City, Utah

IPPS Southern Region Conference

  • Oct 18-22, 2026
  • Houston, TX

All travel arrangements will be booked by the applicant (“Exchange Delegate”), not IPPS Eastern Region. Conference registration costs will be covered by the hosting region. The Exchange Delegate will be asked to present a short talk sharing their exchange experience at the 2027 Annual Meeting of the Eastern Region. Apply for this opportunity at the link below:
