ABOUT IPPS

Who we are

IPPS is a global network of professionals with an interest in plant production, including horticultural research and education, with the aim to improve the knowledge, skills, productivity and professionalism of its members.

IPPS has 1600 members over eight geographical regions around the world, spread over four continents.

What we do

IPPS Regions coordinate and organize various forums and activities where members can learn and share plant production knowledge.

Annual Conferences:

Regional Annual Conferences are the highlight on every IPPS members’ calendar. These annual programs are usually combined with a pre- and post-conference tour, visiting nurseries and other places of horticultural interest.

Combined Proceedings:

The papers presented at the annual conferences are available to all IPPS members. Professionally edited papers and presentations can be accessed on the PROCEEDINGS page. There are currently 64 Combined Proceeding volumes available.

Members may purchase the Combined Proceedings as a book, which is published annually.

Field Days & Workshops:

IPPS Regions regularly organize field days, nursery visits and workshops throughout the year.

Scholarships & Exchange Programs:

Various scholarships and exchange programs exist to encourage young members to travel and learn from others. Please visit the SCHOLARSHIP page for more information
