Internships Funding for Workers and Students – Deadline: July 1st, 2024
The International Plant Propagators’ Society-Eastern Region Foundation (IPPS-ERF) is offering financial support internship experiences related to nursery production, plant propagation, or plant collections for students or nursery and garden employees with 5 years or less experience.
Grants-in-Aid of up to $1,000 support travel, housing, wages, or educational expenses (such as a conference or specific training) to enhance the overall internship experience. Successful candidate(s) will receive the grant in the form of a reimbursement for expenses incurred during the internship experience. Receipts are required. The deadline for submitting a proposal is July 1st.
Proposals should include your resume, the name of a contact person from the company, garden or institution where the candidate will work, the purpose for the funding request, and a detailed budget. Apply online here.
Successful applicants will be notified by August 15th. Successful applicants are encouraged to present their experience at an annual IPPS-Eastern Region Conference and must provide a one-page report on their experience for the IPPS-ER Newsletter and/or Proceedings.
