Do you have an intern this year? The IPPS Eastern Region Foundation is offering financial support for internship experiences related to nursery production, plant propagation, or plant collections for students or nursery and garden employees with 5 years or less experience. We are offering two grants of up to $1,000 to support travel, housing, wages, or educational expenses (such as a conference or specific training) to enhance the overall internship experience. The deadline for submitting a proposal is this July 1st.
Proposals should include a resume, the name of a contact person from the company, garden or institution where the candidate will work, the purpose for the funding request, and a budget. Apply online: IPPS-ER Foundation Internship Application. Successful applicants will be notified by mid August.
